*I won a paperback copy from the author and will be sharing my review.

The title of this book fits perfectly with the story. In this story I found that I lived on the edge of my seat for what Amelia would find out next from things that had been left in the dark. Amelia knows very little about her parents. She does know that she was raised by her grandfather and lived from foster home to foster home thru periods of her life. With nightmares of JackRabbit7 haunting her dreams at night, it’s the only connection that she fears the most from her past. But the pull to know more from her past will be her biggest haunt of all. With the few friends that she has, she will learn more than she would like about their connections to her. Meeting Max in the middle of the night after realizing things aren’t the way they seemed to be with Connor, her life is about to take a turn. But what happens when friends become enemies and enemies become friends? No one is who she thought they were. The truth will be unleashed but at what expense to Amelia and her heart? Can she be the one to help put an end to what her grandfather has caused? This is one of those great reads that left me asking “When can I expect the next book in the series?”

Ms. Parkes needs to be discovered by so many. Her writing style and story-telling is just what we all need. The book will pull you in and you will find yourself in love with the characters rooting for them to be together. What can I say? I LOVED this story. This is a must read for everyone and it’s filled with passion, love and longing. It’s not too long, has some sex scenes in it, not cheesy as I have seen in other stories and the love connection is beautiful.

Lily has left the town she resides in to stay at the cottage her grandmother has left her. Trying to take a break and mend from her break up with Nick, her plans are just to get peace and closure.

Ash looks for a new woman for his winter months and summer months. He knows they will all fall in love with him and then he gives them a gift and sends them away broken hearted. When he meets Lily, he finds himself thinking and feeling things he never felt for any of the others. Is he ready to settle down or is Lily just another woman to cross his seasonal path?

I could go on and on about how wonderful this story is, but I really feel it’s one of those hidden treasures that readers want to dig up. So if you are looking for a nice romance with loveable characters, this is the story for you.

New author alert here and one you will find yourself hooked to and following for years to come. This story is her first release and very captivating.

Talula feels she is a damned soul. She traded her soul many, many years ago for the life of another only to die and come back to the memory of what she has given of herself. When you’ve lived as long as she has, what is there to look forward to knowing it’s always going to come back full circle to the way it was before? But things change when she spots someone watching her one day and speaks to him.

Gadin is a vampire that has been the way he is for 60 years. The scent of a woman is too tempting to just move along and find his next meal. She’s intoxicating to him. But when she speaks to him, he can’t help himself but to come closer and see why he feels the need to be close to her.

Could Gadin be her savior to help her see that she can love and live? What if everything you ever believed was a lie? Will revenge save those you care about or pull you into an endless spiral of hate?

Very impressive is this story by Ms. Rose. The book has a glossary in it and those always impress me as it explains words I would have never known what the true meaning of. It allows easy access for the readers to understand better.

The Twin Dragons (book two of the Golden Crown) by Rue Volley

Rue Volley doesn’t disappoint in this continuation of the Golden Crown Series. As always, her quick wit in story telling keeps you on the edge to demand more from this best-selling author. With love, hate, passion, suspense and secrets that will come to light, this story had me turning the pages so fast I suffered from whip lash. I love the way Ms. Volley writes and even with the most uncomfortable of situations the characters may be in, she still allows lines that will make you laugh. This story was amazing beyond belief. The ending was not what I expected at all which in turn proves what a fantastic author Ms. Volley is.

Cas and August are getting ready to celebrate their 18th birthday as Beth and Ryan are seeing the arrangement of what a farce their marriage to each other has been. There are so many secrets that come to light, you will be forever in awe as to what to expect next from each chapter. New characters have been brought in that will have an impact on the outcome of this story. But who’s secret will be the most devastating and how will it affect everyone involved? WOW, there are just not enough words to describe how wonderfully written this story is. I dare you not to be pulled in from the start as much as I was.
